Nathan Nemeth : Sorry, but the new theme song is horrible! Jake Kamps : I’m happy this is only 6 mins, & not 30. It’s about a 1/4 of the time I expected from Top 10 videos! kdhlkjhdlk : Mysterium is also playable with only 2 player. I’ll never get murder in tokyo drift or whatever.. Matthew Cagle : I know I’m in the minority, but I don’t really care for Smash-Up. I had too much disconnect between assembling these cool armies just to overtake bases using math. I’ll admit it’s a cool concept that just never really gelled for me. Doma Agape : Betrayal House on the Hill: my 71st favorite game. Interestingly, I have played this game 5 or 6 times, and the same scenario came up 3 times. But even that last time, I liked the game more. Battlestar Galactica: is my 72nd favorite game, even though it can be long, I do enjoy it. Mission: Red Planet: My 16th favorite game. I was blessed to help beta test this game. It needs more plays! Shadows Over Camelot: It took 3 plays, but decided its not what I was looking for and sold my copy. I will still play it. But not a big fan. I think the theme and mechanics are a disconnect. Luke Hector (Broken Meeple) : Concordia beat Sentinels. HERESY. Tree Hugger : Seasons is one of my favorite games but I would not say it scales well by player counts. It gets progressively more fiddly with more players, making 4 very unwieldy (50.4% on BGG voted not recommended with 4). 3 players usually is fine and sometimes I prefer the excitement of not knowing every card my opponent(s) drafted versus the more deterministic 2 player, barring one game I had where there was about 8 end of turn point modifier cards in play at the same time. Indecision101 : Im actually kind of sad of how much Smash Up has kind of become stale for me. Not sure if its too many factions or whatever, but I really just dont enjoy it anymore Paul King : Cool list. And yeah, there’s quite a bit more Smash Up factions. XD Two expansions just came out this year. Fun game if you put some time into learning the card interactions. Raccoon : Mmmmmm. Is the into part (explaining all these games are good) really necessary in every video? Michael Czerniewski : 46 factions presently in Smash Up. Glad to see it made the list, as did Seasons. Romek Arkhonai : To clarify. Tom, Mission Red Planet is clearly ROLE SELECTION + area control, not a worker placement game. Cthulwho. Ticket to Ride Europe made it easier to teach? It adds in the “random number of additional cards when building tunnels” rule. Surely the base TtR is the easiest version of the game? KabukiKid : I know Tom says that he feels that Deception is a Mysterium-killer, but I don’t feel that way. The games are different enough to me. I know they share a mechanism of having a silent player trying to convey info using some sort of non-verbal clues, but the pure cooperativeness of Mysterium makes it totally feel different. AlexeyTea : After watching BSG TV-series I fell in love with already liked BSG game. Such an awesome cast and wide range of characters makes it great for roleplaying. I wonder if crossroads cards can be done for this game..
